6 October 2025 - Adetswil

The past few weekends I've spent running races in Switzerland, from the Greifenseelauf, the Pfäffikerseelauf, and just yesterday the Flowige at the TrailRun Einsiedeln. It's been amazing how fast fall has set in. Two weeks ago during the Greifenseelauf the heat was causing people to collapse left and right along the course, whereas yesterday I needed my wool long underwear and a jacket as I ran through the woods up from Einsiedeln to Amselspitz. The snowy Alps were all around me and the the Mythen especially breathtaking. I could also see the Sihlsee, Zürichsee, and Greifensee all at the same time. The TrailRun was also a very low key event, with children and dogs running and only costing 15 francs. I wish I'd known I could've brought Paula! Nevertheless this past week the dogs and I hiked three more segments of the Zürichsee Rundweg, meaning we're halfway done (at least segmentwise).
