Tonight I went out to the university in Rapperswil to hear Richard Stallman talk about free software. Twenty years I was much more hardcore. I used Linux on my laptop and refused to carry a cellphone. Stallman on the other hand didn't compromise his principles and still lives that way. I remember being in the San Francisco airport years ago when he was paged over the intercom and got excited. Tonight I got to see him in person.
