Once More in Venice... |

Last time it was raining and the city was flooding. Flooding was pretty typical for Europe in 2021. When my brother Packie told me last year that he and Ansley were going to do a Mediterranean cruise, we realized it was also a great chance to meet up on the European continent. Eventually we settled on Venice, and so when their boat docked in Ravenna yesterday they came straight to the city and we met for lunch and ended up spending the whole day together. We rode boats, drank beers, ate gelato, explored the history, and tried not to get lost. Venice is a labyrinth! Today I'm back home after a whirlwind weekend I still can't believe I was lucky enough to share with them. And there's still a ton to see next time...
