After Limogne-en-Quercy the path is all rocked lined scrub oak forest with the little rock huts called cabanes. And this part is called the "Circuit des Dolmens", so there were more of those Celtic monuments as well. Variare is a descent sized town with restaurants and shops. After that the forest gets thicker to the next town, Bach. Then there are rolling hills along rock-lined paths though the forest to Mas-de-Vers, which is more a crossroads than a town.
