Niedźwiedzica is a small town not far from the Vistula river. The trail from here starts off westward through farmland until it hits the levee protecting the farms from the river. Then one follows the levee about 8 kilometers up to Mikoszewo. There is a ferry there across to Świbno on Sobieszewski Island. Then one follows the main road across the island another 8 km to Sobieszewo.
