Leaving Wattenwil the trail climbs and climbs up the alpine foothills with stunning views. Thereafter it's mainly forests and fields and small towns. There is a nice stretch along the Schwarzwasser river to cool off in the afternoon. Eventually it ends at the Schwarzenburg train station.
