Willisau - Huttwil Via Jacobi Confoederatio Helvetica Trails Index | Via Jacobi | Schweizmobil

Starting in Willisau, the trail climbs up steeply up to the forest. From there it follows the rolling hills of Swiss farmland, often on the edge of the fields by the forest growing on the hillsides too steep to farm. Along the way the trail passes through the small town of Ufhusen, which seems to have missed out on the sound shift that hit most of the continental Germanic world. In the end Huttwil is a fairly large town, with restaurants and shops.
