This is the sight in the Zürich airport - drinking fountains are closed "for our safety". Really this just means that we fill up our water bottles in the bathroom faucets. How is that less gross? The twins went to a summer concert some years back where they did the same thing to boost the bottled water sales at the concessions stand. Unless it's the middle of the desert this is just poor service - toilets as well as drinking water should be a minimum level of service at any venue of any quality and certainly in an international airport. The advent of this coronavirus has led to so much corruption and graft even in places one would normally expect to be honest. Fear is a powerful motivator though, and it seems that there is now a limitless supply! And thus we're drinking eau de toilette....
