That Klimak is the photographer and his name appears above the writer Urbanek's should tell you all you need to know about Journeys Through Lower Silesia. The text is not impressive, nor even well translated. As a child who growing up in California panned for gold in the American River, I cringed to see it translated as "rinsing". Still, I plan to own an old Silesian castle one day, so it was nice to see pictures of the ones that have been fixed up. I was also unaware of the hot springs and will have to fit those into the itinerary on one of my future trips there. Stick this book on your coffee table and let guests enjoy the pictures.
