I make waffles fairly often, but I usually google the recipe and then convert units on whatever ingredients are listed below like 700 ads. Mainly to save myself time I'm writing them here:

  • 125g melted butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 500 ml whole milk
  • 600 ml all-purpose flour
  • 100 ml sugar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • a few dashes of salt
  • optional: blueberries, raspberries, pecans, walnuts, etc.

Preheat the waffle iron. Melt the butter. Mix the liquid ingredients. Add in the non-optional solid ingredients and mix into a nice batter. Ladle the batter into thecenter of the waffle iron and sprinkle in any desired optional ingredients before closing. Consult your specific waffle iron for cook time, but it should only be a few minutes. The waffle should be slightly brown and easily removable with a fork. Optional: clean the iron with a damp paper towel between waffles when switching between optional ingredients.
