Tweet Lausanne cathedral is the start of this section and it is a stained glass masterpiece of lighting. From there the trail follows the roads down to Lac Léman passing through the Roman ruins of LOVSANNA. This town was on the lakeshore a couple thousand years ago when the lake was higher, so it's some distance from the lakeshore now. Basically all the remains today are foundation. The trail then continues along the lake through a number of towns to Rolle. If you're camping I highly recommend Camping de Rolle, because Pilgrims on the Camino camp for free and they're near a beach and several nice restaurants. Hikes:
