Starting in Wattwil, the path goes immediately uphill from the train station. The first stop is Iberg Castle, which is open daily during the Summertime. Then it's on up to the pass at Heid with beautiful views of the Alps before decending again to Walde where towns start to appear and then get thicker until Eschenbach. The route ends through Jona and Rapperswil to the Zürichsee.
