And then, sometimes, I take on Instagram challenges like the Namaslay Asanas which broadens my practice and reminds me how much I really don't know.

Asanas

Herebelow is a listing of some poses, so I remember them and because I just can't get enough selfies ;)

Adho Mukha Svanasana

Downward dog is the colloquial name for this pose which is often repeated in yoga routines. Alternating bending the knees in this pose is a good way to loosen the legs up.

Happy baby is one of my favorite poses because it stretches out my lower back and legs, which need it from sitting at my desk and running respectively.

Baddha Konasana

In gymnastics we called it the butterfly - sitting with feet together and knees out.
