I haven't read anything by Daniel Kahneman before, but I have read Michael Lewis' book about him, so I went into Noise with high expectations. The book makes some excellent points about how "expert" human judgements are incredibly noisy at a huge cost to society. It is, however, a ponderously slow read and written at such a low level that I really wonder who their target audience is.
