Iwona brought me back from her trip to Malta last month a book of Malta's Prehistoric Treasures which was originally written by British archæologist David Trump, but has been reworked and added to after his death for the second edition. Reading this book brought back memories of my trip to Malta in 2019 and the books I brought back to learn more about the island. I have been inside the caves of Għar Dalam and Ħal Saflieni Hypogeum, the the temple ruins of Tarxien, and several museums there. Malta is a magical place for archæology despite its small size. And this book with its copious photographs is a good, short companion for adventures there.
