It's another rainy day here in Switzerland. I'm still sore from yesterday's race, so I've just been bumming around the house practicing Japanese and reading. I found myself rereading my blogs about running. In 2016 I wrote about dreaming of running an ultramarathon in the Alps one day. Five years later I did it. Then I moved here. Every year there are new goals, new triumphs, and new defeats. But somehow I still have the same socks. They were old seven years ago, but I still wore them to run yesterday.
