2024 Training Log Q2

This morning I took the dogs out the rain for a run up to the Madonna del Sasso and then down along the lake. Paula and Eddie just loved it, of course, but on the lake they learned a lesson about flotsom they hard way. So many sticks and logs had washed down from recent storms that they collected against the quay and looked like land. So given the opportunity Paula and Eddie decided to run out onto this "land" and had quite the surprise when they splashed into the lake underneath. Quite hilarious to watch! Eddie surprisingly made it further than Paula. Both quickly turned around and swam back to me once they realized their mistake and I fished them out of the water. Then it was back to running...

This afternoon I rode down to the Pfäffikersee for a swim and to relax for a couple hours in the sun. The downhill was easy, but back up the hill was brutal since the e-bike battery hadn't been charged and I left it at home. The swimming was great though!
